Kosova is small in size, about 4,208 square miles. Its borders touch Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania. The population of Kosova is about 2 million people. The same people group lives within the borders of Kosova and Albania. There are also many Kosovar people living across the borders within the other neighboring countries. Kosova and Albania share a common flag. Still lacking a self-governing body of leadership, the United Nations has been in control since the conclusion of the conflict with Serbia. The NATO forces are a very great presence throughout Kosova, and citizens and visitors alike are subject to search at any time and place by both NATO and UN forces.
Krushe e Madhe lies in the Southwest part of Kosova between the cities of Gjakove and Prizren. The valley, just east of the mountains dividing Albania and Kosova, is rich in farmland, and is the agricultural centre of Kosova.
