policies & procedures
Please read through the information below to familiarize yourself with our policies and procedures.
If you have any questions after reading this material, please feel free to contact one of our Nursery Coordinators; Jenny Lacock (799-5132) or Melissa Vogl (899-7570) or our Generation Pastor, Nate Swanson for answers.
Health Concerns
We are a well-child nursery and cannot accept a sick child. If you are not sure if your child is coming down with something, please do not leave them. If they are unusually cranky and tired, they may be getting sick and need to be with you.
Facility Use
The GFCC Nursery is for children whose parents are attending events in our building. Please do not leave your child in the nursery if you leave the building.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
A check-in label is provided at the door of each Nursery room. When dropping your child off, please fill out this label completely and adhere the appropriate sections to your child & their belongings. Notify our workers of any important instructions or special needs.
Ask a worker to assign a Contact Number to your child. This will be written on the back side of the label and will help us to pair you with your child at the conclusion of the service or to call you from the service if you are needed. More detailed instructions appear on the label stub itself. KEEP THE STUB FROM YOUR CHECK-IN LABEL - YOU MUST RETURN IT TO RECEIVE YOUR CHILD.
CHILDREN WILL ONLY BE RELEASED TO PARENTS or GUARDIANS! It would alleviate congestion at the check-in areas if only one parent picks up their child. IN CONSIDERATION OF YOUR CHILD AND THE NURSERY ATTENDANTS, PLEASE BE PROMPT IN RETURNING FOR YOUR CHILD.
Diaper Bags
Include a change of clothes (in case of an accident),diapers, pacifier (if used), and a blanket (if loved). If your child has a hard time with separation, a favorite blanket can help.
