This summer we’ll be visiting a war-torn village in Kosovo to lend a helping hand to full-time missionaries from our church.  In 1999, Krushe e’ Vogel (Little Village) endured tragedy as almost half of the men were mercilessly slaughtered at the hands of their neighbor Serbians.   See full story here. 

In an effort to show the love of Christ to this suffering people, we’ll be caring for children in the missionary-run kindergarten (while their mothers support their families), working in the fields to relieve the burden of labor, visiting other remote villages to spread the Gospel message, and tackling various work projects to make life easier for the missionaries and villagers.

Dates:  July 11-25, 2007
 

Even though it's too late to join the team, you can help by:
1)  Prayer support.  Get on the email list by contacting team leader Nate Swanson & join us in prayer every step of the way!  Email:  nateswanson@gfcconline.com

2)  Financial support.  We have 11 adults going at the cost of $2500 each.  There is undoubtedly a need for a few extra bucks somewhere.  To donate, simply mail a check to the church offices, filled out to GFCC with Kosova Mission Trip in the memo.
3)  Encouragement.  Get to know one of the 11 team members listed below and speak words of life that will fuel their journey!

Team Member Requirements:

1)  Must be at least 18 years of age.

2)  Must have valid medical insurance and be willing to assume all risk involved.

3)  Must have all finances raised by June 10.

4)  Must have a valid U.S. Passport.

5)  Must attend all team meetings (beginning mid-March).

6)  Must be willing to serve with a good attitude.
