The SQUARE ONE Process
an ongoing course
There is a way of life described in the Bible that leads to honoring God and helping others to do the same. In order to fully live this life, there are a few basics that all believers are called to embrace. Our process for helping GFCC embrace these basics is called SQUARE ONE.
Every weekend, we invite people to start the process and, for those that respond, we are very intentional about pairing them up with a friend that goes through the process with them. CLICK HERE to learn about becoming that friend.
The SQUARE ONE Process
EVERY MONTH - AT 10AM - IN CLASSROOM A1:
(classes are stand-alone & can be taken in any order)
week 1: SALVATION
week 2: WATER BAPTISM (followed by baptism in 11am service)
week 3: BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
week 4: ENGAGING IN THE CHURCH

SALVATION
10am / 1st sunday of each month / classroom A1
This class details the need, the process and the benefits of Salvation in Jesus Christ. Whether you're considering a walk with God, beginning a walk with God or coming back to a walk with God, understanding your salvation is crucial.

Water Baptism
10am / 2nd Sunday of each month / classroom A1
This comprehensive class will take you through the scriptures to see the importance of Water Baptism. Bring a change of clothes and a towel so you can take part in the Baptism immediately following the class (during the 11am Worship Service). Baptism in the Holy Spirit
10am / 3rd Sunday of each month / classroom A1
This crucial step of faith is often times misunderstood. Allowing the Bible to speak for itself, Pastor Lee Barrows will use this class time to highlight numerous Biblical texts to bring clarity and confidence as you pursue God's tools for your life in Him.

ENGAGING IN THE CHURCH
10am / 4th sunday of each month / classroom A1
Active involvement in a healthy church family is defined and explored in this class. Coming out of this class you'll be motivated to embrace life in the church and receive the benefits that come along with it.

BECOMING A SQUARE ONE FRIEND

The "secret sauce" in this process is the connection between people. Every step that we take in our spiritual walk is often met with discouragement and distraction. By helping each person in this process find a friend that will "travel" with them, we are making sure they have the encouragement they need to stay on track. YOU can be that friend.
